Promoting quality of life through movement
At Zest, we utilise the full Pilates repertoire including the Reformer, Trapeze Table, Wunda Chair, Barrels, Mat, Power Plate and a variety of small props.
We offer private or semi private sessions with 4 being the maximum number of clients to 1 instructor. Each session runs for 60 minutes. Physiotherapy services are available, by appointment, which are claimable on health insurance.
We understand that all clients come to us with different goals in mind. Our friendly, personable staff will cater each session based on your physical and emotional needs.
I began Pilates a few years ago when I was looking for a 'gentle' form of exercise to accommodate problems with my lower back, knees and ankles. Weekly semi-private studio sessions have been a great way to build core strength, flexibility and ease of movement, along with some great camaraderie. My ankles are now much stronger and I am back pain-free. We are still working on the knees (although there has definitely been an improvement). I've worked out with people recovering from injuries, those who are strength-training for other sports and some who just enjoy the whole aspect of body control. Pilates is something I would recommend to people of all ages and levels of fitness.
